1947 Owen's Glass Company Illinois One Gallon Brown Glass Bottle made in Alton Illinois. For a Texas Medical Chemical Company. I think it may be rare because 1947 began the 2 digit year code for Owen's Glass Company Bottles and this one has a 7. For the year mark and the period Behind a single digit number represents 1940s so that makes it a 1947 bottle. The same year the company went to a two number code without the period.(47 instead of 7.) Bottle is in Exceptional condition.. the last pic shows the only flaw I can find. VERY NICE 1947 DURAGLAS BOTTLE. Still has most of the original label.
